The Seller and These Terms

Soleil & Silk is the trading name of Nandini Srivastava, with its principal business address at P2/13, Block 8, Kailash Dham, Sector 50, Noida.

Contact details and the Grievance Officer are listed on our Contact page. These terms govern website purchases together with the specifications and written approvals for your order and our Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Refunds policies. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling.

Nothing in these documents limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not treat browsing alone as express purchase consent.

Eligibility and Order Information

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering into the purchase, or act through an authorised adult. Please provide accurate information and have authority to use the payment method and any personal or third-party material you supply.

Made-To-Order Production

Every piece is hand-painted and created after an order. We do not hold finished inventory. Design availability does not mean a finished piece is ready for dispatch. Applicable preparation estimates and delivery information are provided before payment.

AI-Generated Design Images and Artistic Variation

Our design images are AI-generated representations used to illustrate intended artwork and styling; they are not photographs of the exact finished piece you will receive. Actual artwork, fabric references or completed-piece photographs, where provided, will be identified separately.

Hand painting may create minor differences in brushwork, shading, line, texture and motif placement. Styling, drape, lighting and screen settings can affect appearance. Disclosed minor variations that do not materially change the agreed design, specifications or quality do not by themselves justify a change-of-mind cancellation, return or refund.

We remain responsible for the agreed fabric, dimensions, principal motifs, overall design and workmanship. AI representation and artistic variation do not excuse misleading descriptions, material design departures, damage or defects. Please raise any essential design requirement before purchase so we can confirm it in writing.

Prices, Payments and Order Acceptance

Prices are displayed in Indian rupees and include applicable Indian taxes unless a different lawful price basis is clearly stated. Shipping and any other charges collected by us are disclosed before payment. Destination duties collected by authorities are separate unless expressly included.

Successful payment generates an order acknowledgement. Our written acceptance confirms that we can fulfil the stated specifications and schedule. For a bespoke commission, the design, price and preparation estimate are agreed before payment. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will notify you promptly and refund the unfulfilled payment under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

If a material pricing, availability or description error is discovered, we will explain it and request your agreement to any revised order, or cancel and refund it. We do not impose a new price, substituted fabric or materially changed specification without agreement. Later website changes do not retrospectively rewrite an accepted order.

Bespoke Approvals and Changes

Before production, we confirm the agreed brief, including relevant fabric, colours, principal motifs, dimensions, included items, price and timeline. You are responsible for checking measurements and information you provide. Our work must still conform to the agreed brief.

Changes requested after approval depend on technical feasibility and the stage of work. Any additional charge or revised timeline requires agreement before the change is implemented. We do not make material substitutions without approval. Approval of a brief does not waive remedies for defective work or material departures from it.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Cancellation is available within 12 hours of ordering, during which production will not begin, and thereafter while production has not begun. Once order-specific physical production begins, change-of-mind cancellation is not accepted, subject to applicable law.

The full process and applicable remedies appear in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for made-to-order pieces.

Valid defect, damage, incorrect-item, material-misdescription, non-delivery and other statutory claims are assessed under our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.

An unboxing video is helpful evidence, not an automatic prerequisite for every claim.

Shipping and Agreed Dates

Preparation and courier transit are separate. Shipping availability, costs and estimates are provided before payment. Any required event date must be expressly accepted by us in writing. Estimated dates do not remove remedies applicable to a missed stated delivery schedule.

The Shipping & Delivery Policy explains tracking, customs, failed deliveries and delay handling.

Force Majeure

An extraordinary event beyond a party's reasonable control may excuse an affected obligation only to the extent it actually prevents or unavoidably delays performance, could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome, and applicable law permits the excuse. Examples may include natural disasters, war, mandatory government restrictions or severe transport disruption. Listing an event does not establish that it qualifies in every case.

Our normal made-to-order process, ordinary workload, known holidays, routine sourcing delays, avoidable staff shortages or increased production cost alone are not force majeure under these terms.

We will notify you promptly of an event affecting your order, explain the expected impact where known, take reasonable mitigation steps and provide updates. Any extension is limited to the affected obligation and reasonable duration. Force majeure does not excuse unrelated defects or misdescription, or allow us to retain payment indefinitely without fulfilment.

If we cannot fulfil the affected order, or the event prevents fulfilment for more than 30 calendar days beyond the original agreed delivery date, you may cancel the unfulfilled portion and receive the corresponding refund. You may also agree to a revised schedule. Any earlier remedy required by applicable law remains available.

Intellectual Property and Supplied References

Artwork and website materials are owned by Soleil & Silk or their respective creators or licensors, as applicable. Purchasing a physical piece does not transfer copyright or commercial reproduction rights unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise. Personal use, gifting and lawful resale of the physical item do not grant reproduction rights.

Do not copy artwork for commercial production or use website materials commercially without the required permission. Any exclusivity or non-replication commitment must be expressly stated for that design or commission.

For customer-supplied logos, images or other references, you confirm you have authority for their proposed use. You permit us to use them only as needed to discuss and fulfil the commission and related records. We may decline requests that appear to infringe rights. Public marketing use of identifiable personal content requires separate permission.

Website Use and External Services

Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorised access or disruption. We may restrict misuse proportionately without removing remedies for a genuine paid order.

External platforms and payment services may have their own terms. Their involvement does not automatically transfer all responsibility for our obligations to the customer. Website interruptions do not extinguish an accepted order or refund obligation.

Responsibility and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or purchases. Where lawful, our aggregate contractual liability for a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.

These limitations do not exclude or restrict liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, mandatory consumer remedies, applicable data-protection obligations or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not reduce an otherwise due refund or prevent access to consumer authorities or other lawful redress.

Complaints and Governing Law

Please contact customer care or the Grievance Officer with your order number and issue. We acknowledge formal complaints within 48 hours and redress them within one month. Contact details are on our Contact page.

Indian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to the transaction. Subject to those protections, Bengaluru courts have jurisdiction where lawful. This does not exclude the jurisdiction of competent consumer commissions, statutory authorities or other forums available under applicable law, including lawful jurisdiction based on the customer's residence.

Changes and Severability

We may update these terms for future purchases and show the effective date. An accepted order remains governed by the terms and approvals applicable when it was accepted, unless a lawful change is agreed.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent lawful.
