Vrindavan brings a pastoral scene to ivory: cows and peacocks among flowering trees, lotus blooms and curling vines. Small lotus motifs lead towards the detailed painting at the kurta’s hem, while the upper portion and back remain plain, giving the artwork room to stand out. This three-piece suit pairs a paper silk kurta with coordinating trousers and a silk dupatta, finished with painted scenes at both ends.
